So you are probably asking yourself, what courses are there available for me? However, maybe a better question is, what course level is best for me?
In any case, the odds are that you fall within the 65% of students new to our school who sign up for our famous "16 weeks" that will let you speak Spanish in no time. That level is called the Introductory level. If you think you are "beyond" that level because of any high school, college or living abroad in a Spanish-speaking country experience or classes... well then you will have to take an online assessment before registering for a class. Click here for an online assessment.

You have different Spanish courses available based on you level (Intro, Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced) and/or goal (see table below). These classes take place at any of our locations, but can be offered onsite or online, for groups or private. Contact us for more info.

Speak Spanish in 16 weeks or less... Guaranteed
Introductory is for students who can't really say anything substantial in Spanish - regardless of previous experience or not. Here we will build a solid foundation that will enable students to speak in the past, present and future. This level is 100% conversational to develop proper pronunciation and strengthen comprehension. This level consists of sixteen 1.5-hour weekly group classes.

Beginners
Make sure the foundation is there
Here we review the important elements of the Spanish basic structuring to make sure students are ready to move on to studying tenses in detail. This class is mandatory for many first time students with Spanish-LC and optional for students completing Intro 4.

Master the Tenses
The remaining of the Beginner level is for students who have completed Introductory level, or who have some other previous Spanish experience, studies and/or understanding. The knowledge and understanding of the material covered in the previous level is a prerequisite. Pronunciation should not be an obstacle and some conjugation should be recognized. This level includes all the Indicative tenses and is covered in 5 courses: Beginners 0 (for first time students with SpanishLC to review the foundation) and Beginners 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Intermediate
Only Conversation
This is a conversational class. Subjunctive is not required. Students must be assessed before participating in this class.

The Subjunctive
The main focus of these classes are the Subjunctive tenses: 1) Present Subjunctive and 2) Imperfect Subjunctive. Tons and tons of subjunctive scenerias and exercises available to apply in class and to do homework with. Once this level is completed, you will only want to speak in the subjunctive the rest of your life.
Needless to say, only students who have completed and passed the previous levels are accepted here. New students to our school will have to be assessed first.

Advanced
Massive Conversation
Advanced is for students who are knowledgeable about the language; can speak it and understand it, but need to practice and review advanced grammar such as Subjunctive, Compound tenses, Passive Voice, etc. Fluency is required. This level is only conversational. Classes are conducted by an advanced instructor whose job is to keep the conversation flowing while monitoring to intervene with assistance for proper pronunciation, vocabulary, proper sentence structuring and grammar explanations when needed.

Group Class Duration
Group classes meet either:
Weekly: Group classes meet on a weekly basis. Each group level is broken down in either 4 class (6 hours) or 8 class (12 hours) format.
Intensive Weekends: 3 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday - 6 hours in total. Intensive classes are mostly for only conversation classes (Intermediate and Advanced).
It is every instructor's mission to lead conversational classes; to enforce oral participation constantly; to make sure that everyone speaks! In our classes, everyone speaks! There's no way out. Once you are enrolled in class, you will speak Spanish.
All classes introduce specific concepts related to correct grammar and proper structuring and verb usage and is then applied in conversational exercises. All class exercises and participation are oral. Class participation is a must. Grammar is explained in a comprehensible manner for a better understanding of the structuring and its immediate application.
Class Size
Group classes are commonly small. Average size for a group may vary between 6 to 12 students. Smaller groups may seat 2 or 3 students and the larger groups may seat up to 18.
Scheduling & Registration
Group classes are scheduled regularly in order to have as many options as possible available for you. Private, semi-privates, corporate, business and online classes can start at any time.
